The abuse and neglect issue is present not just in Chicago or the U.S. but also around the world. Not all countries recognize this issue as important given that they have no laws against animal abuse and neglect. Some countries like China have wildlife protection laws but no laws that protect animals against human abuse. China is not the only place where animals live a suffering hell. Other countries are labeled as “Barbaric Humans” because of their lack of respect towards animals.
According to a list created by Kai Tags an online researcher the cruelest country with animals is Japan where people don’t believe much in pets so they just treat generally cats and dogs like they are nothing. There have been cases reported where cat owners would get rid of their unwanted cats by throwing them into rivers also poisoning dogs. The second one in the list would be the U.S because of the way they keep their animals in farms, slaughterhouses, or people who make business of animals like dogs doing things like puppy mills and hoarding of dogs. They make animals live a suffering hell.
